THEORETICAL CONCEPTS OF CULTURAL ROUTES
Abstract: The module explains what a
cultural route is and how it can be created. Examples of European Cultural
Routes are provided. Cultural routes offer opportunities to develop networks,
valorise cultural heritage and enhance tourism development.

BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Abstract: Business in economic sense includes human activities like production or
sales of goods and services. The main target of every business is to perform
these goods and services are for earning profits. So in general every business
needs to be for its existing profitable. Businessmen who are responsible for
their entrepreneurship need to be able to cooperate with their environment.
To make a successful
entrepreneurship, the business needs to have an organizational structure. The
competitiveness in the market is conditioned by sophisticated business plan,
marketing plan and also quality standards.

ENGLISH FOR EUROPEAN CULTURAL ROUTES
Abstract:
Module 4 is a self-study language course for people who are devoted to cultural
routes. It has been designed to help target users understand basic phrases,
expressions and sentences that they may come across in their everyday practice,
working with tourists and customers. Very simple dialogues, translations and
comprehensible word lists should facilitate self-oriented learning. On
completion of the course the learners will be able to understand the target
language and communicate their needs at A1 level according to CEFR.

CUSTOMISED MODULE FOR HOSPITALITY SECTOR STAFF (RESTAURANTS AND ACCOMMODATION PROVIDERS)
Abstract: This module revolves around
accommodation and restaurants in the proposed Cultural route in Crete. It
begins with general information on accommodation and restaurants and continues
with the creation of specific products for the cultural tourist route. It then
goes on with places of interest, their historical and cultural background and
concludes with the elaboration of specific menus for the tourist cultural
routes including sample menus, specific ingredients, medical care and
complementary services.
The English glossary at A2/B1 level introduces
more advanced vocabulary - specific for the module’s target groups.

Abstract: The main part of the all

projects about cultural routes which make more visible cultural heritage of the
region. Tourist information offices should be informant who such important
information mediates to tourists.
